Here is a super interesting weight loss tip somebody sent me. And the best thing, it really helps!
Okay, what you do is brew a spoon of loose leaf tea, or a teabag in a pot of water (about 2 cups) for about 5 minutes. Then add half a cup of milk, and brew for a couple minutes more. Watch out! The milk will boil over if you are not there to keep stirring the pot. That's it. Pour and enjoy. If you must have it sweet, add a lil bit of sugar, but only a very tiny amount. Drinking this tea kept the munchies away for about 3 whole hours! How about that!
Did you know that when tea leaves are brewed for 3 minutes, they release good for you antioxidants? Tea can help regulate cholesterol and is good for the heart! And, tea helps fight cavities! Who knew! Hey mom, don't you feel terrible about when I used to beg to have a cup of tea with you and you gave me milk instead?
I called up Latisha this morning and invited her to a tea party. She was like 'What do you think we are? 5 years old? Should I wear a frilly dress and my mother's hat and high heels?' Hmmm, actually that sounds like fun. I am going to have the girls over to a retro tea party next time. I think now that 5 year olds have the right idea. Next time your little girl wants to have her friends over (or even her dolls) for a tea party, slip some real tea in her teapot. Okay moms, don't get mad with me! Just check the real facts about tea.
I bought myself a really cute thermos which I tote to work everyday. Hope this helps me cause Saturday is weighing in day for the four of us. I have been trying real hard, haven't I?

Hi Marcie, the tip about drinking tea sounds really cool - especially as it is something that we can all enjoy doing !! You are so right - why did our Mums pour milk down our throats, (and encourage all those fat cells to form!) when they could have been letting us drink nice, healthy, tea instead !!

To be really frank - I think that the only one who will actually lose some weight is Latisha - I have heard that Sibutramine is really effective! And, equally important, it can be continued on a long-term basis -- long after the kettle bells are collecting rust !!! Sorry Marcie -- dont take it personally -- I certainly hope that you lose a lot of weight, even if I am a bit sceptical !!!
